"The problem then, is that you have so many ideas; some good, some not so good and some, quite frankly, more than likely illegal, and so little time. You cant possibly pursue all of them and yet to let one goes seems to be an evil akin to smothering a small fluffly kitten while watching Pop Idol." This post focuses on streamlining your ideas in order to let some be successful and looking to the future while focusing on present in order to succeed. I dug this little number out of the archive bin. It was a fledgling post I wrote back in ’07 for my very first blog “Naked Business” but as that blog is long gone now i’m stealing it. The old owner was a jackass so he won't care. For those that have been living in a cave for the last few weeks we are only a short time away from the SUCCESS book launch at the end of the month. This is a post inspired by TED.com’s ingenious section that I hope someday to be on, even if I have to make an uninvited guest appearance and run like a demented would be stripper across the stage and into the gentle waiting hands of security. I have spent a good sized wedge of today listening to the incredible short video clips of amazing individuals from all walks of life and the ideas that they have developed to solve the problems that they have encountered in the world. Most of these individuals are ordinary people that have used their own unique creativity, experiences and talents to make real and lasting change in hundreds of thousands of peoples lives. I would put out the challange to you that, if they can do it, why can’t you?
