It’s a funny thing life, one day we are here and the next we are gone. Depending on your religious you may believe there is a ultimate point to life or not but in either case, what is the point of life if you are in it just to survive. Just to survive life seems to be rather a wasteful use of time and really rather pointless. If you have the gift of life then why spend 80 years justwandering through it trying to survive. if you have the gift of life it should not be wasted in this way. The gift of life should be used to have the greatest adventure you can, regardless of the fact that there may or may not be something waiting at the end of the tunnel.

Location Location Location...that is the big shiny key. The Critical three L’s. The Robin Hoods Maid Marian. So, it is time to hack sleep, or more accurately - BECOME BETTER THAN SUPERMAN Now I don’t mean hack as in the slasher/horror movie sort of way as this blog is far too upper class for that sort of cheesy, predictable depravity. Instead, to hack the art of sleep and the process of sleeping in order to find the optimum amount of sleep to get a night, what you can get away with having, what is way too much and how to best use the hours you do get. Basically, how to get one up on superman and wipe the smugness off his face. You spend almost a third of your life on average asleep, a lack of sleep during old age nicely counterbalancing a ridiculously high amount while pretending to be a student. Surely then, it is worthwhile to optimize it? This is a rhetorical question, the answer is yes.

“I guess if you got freeload money from your rich dad or your partner, then you can spend it as you did. But, hey if you are poor, not matter you do, you are still poor.” This was a comment on one of my recent posts “Three Months In The Life Of A Traveling Entrepreneur”. Bit presumptuous I thought, and just the smallest bit passive aggressive in that unsettling way that makes one think the author might possibly be sitting at his computer right now planning my future demise...I hope he or she at least has a decent cup of coffee with him or her.

Hello all, I am back again with another 3 quest posts on three incredibly awesome sites. Having just re-read them to make sure they actually made some vague sense before shamelessly linking back to them in a wonderfully sneaky way of avoiding writing a post for Saturday I realised that at least two of the posts have distinctly less humour in them then usual. I must have been having a very deep thinking few weeks but don't worry they are still definitely worth reading. However, in light of the lack of humour before I plug them shamelessly below I will include two jokes to make up the humour deficit as is customary on this blog. (There's an animal theme)

Today is the start of SUCCESS TOOLS here on thelifething.com. I feel recently that there has been a lot of inspirational posts but nothing that helps people make practical changes to improve their life. No longer. Splash. The bracing cold water hits my face and flows over my body as I dive out of the sun and slip into the cool water. I exhale and let myself drift slowly downwards to sit crossed legged on the bottom of the pool. I remain motionless, listening to the faint underwater hum of the filtering system and watch the bubbles float slowly upwards through dancing underwater sunbeams to break gently in an array of reflected light at the surface. It’s 2pm. Tuesday.
