    Very interesting speech. I liked the what he said about overestimating. By trying to achieve more than what you want and need you will at least get your real goal (and perhaps more)

    I’m not sure if he is actually speaking about personal goals per se. Rather, looking for the best qualities which are buried deep within everyone and seeing people as the best possible versions of themselves, rather than judging them based on their past deeds or circumstances. By reaching for the best in people and refusing to see their failings, you help to draw those qualities from them. Being an idealist rather than a cynic. Same thing goes for believing in yourself.
