It seems that we are not as easily manipulable by everything around us than we might think. RSA Animate have a very cool video that explores what actually motivates us in the workplace. They also have a whole load of other cool videos on their youtube feed. Worth checking out people.

Fantastic video! I’ve seen this posted at a handful of places over the past week or so and finally took the 10 minutes to watch it.
Work that matters….Make it count…. Love it.
Yeah man, kudos to the guys that put it together, it would have taken a fair few cups of coffee.
Awesome video! I’ve seen it posted around the web as well and took the time to watch it. Amazing the results you get when you have a purpose.
Also, very impressed by your site mate. I think your gonna see big traffic if you keep up the quality.
Hi Tony, welcome to the site.
True, and I am sure it is doing the rounds. I picked it up on one of my rss feeds. Haven’t looked at too many of their other videos but I am sure they just as good. This type of presentation takes some serious time and planning.
Thanks for the comment mate, hope you stick around.
I forwarded this to my father. Something that he can definitely apply.
Lol, as it happens I did the same to my own father.
That’s pretty awesome
Awesome is the word. I am incredibly jealous of this guys drawing skills.
Great video! The drawings are so quirky & enchanting that I couldn’t dare to look away for a second. Very true that once we get past a certain monetary barrier, the purpose of what we work towards is a big motivator.
I don’t know about you Lauren but once I have enough for a tub of Ben and Jerries ice cream per day then it is all purpose.
Honestly love your site so much.
This is a great video! Having visuals really helps me understand it deeply. My husband insisted I send him the link when he heard me playing it.
@Jonny: LOL at the Ben & Jerry’s. I know I work myself much harder than any boss could.
Hi Jennifer, welcome to the site.
I am a big believer in quality design used in all media these days and this video is no exception. Glad to see your husband is getting in on the action, give he a push to read the blog
.
