Firstly I would like to say a big thank you for everyone that has so far submitted their 500x500px image for inclusion in the SUCCESS ebook. It is shaping up to be a quite incredible book and the depth of wisdom and creativity on show is incredible. If you have yet to submit then you need to get a move on.

For Those That Know About The Project Already

For those that have already been nominated by someone and contact with regards to this project then these two points are for you.
Many of you have asked to nominate more than one blogger and if there is anyway you can get more involved. Well the answer is Yes on both accounts:
1. In order to reach the goal of getting 40 great bloggers on board before the end of January I am reopening the nominations. You can nominate another 2 possible bloggers that are not already involved as long as you get your submissions to me in the next 7 days. The deadline for all submissions is going to be Sunday 24th January to give me enough time to collaborate everything and create the Ebook.
2. I am going to need help to put the final touches to the ebook, work out a way of best distributing and marketing it. Many of you guys out there already have great ebooks and even better blogs so it would be great if you would lend your experience. You will be rewarded as everyone who helps out with getting the book onto the net will be acknowledged along with their blog on the very first inside page of the book.

For Those That Don’t Know About The Project But Would Like To Be Involved
.
For those of you new to the SUCCESS project below is the email that got the whole thing rolling.
Inspired by Seth Godwin’s “What Matters Now” Ebook I wanted to create a similar book to draw on the wisdom of 40 of the best “Up and Coming” Life Design Bloggers from around the net and I would be honoured if you would be share your wisdom.
SUCCESS is a simple ebook which asks two simple questions.
What is Success?
How Do You Achieve It?
The book will be freely distributed and obviously linked to every blogger in it.
If you would like to be part of this book I would ask just two things of you.
1. To answer the above two questions using just one sentence for each
2. To Nominate one other blogger that you think should be in the ebook.
This is a peer nominated project. Unfortunately you cannot put yourself forward to be included but you can nominate up to two other bloggers that have inspired you and who you admire and believe to be of excellent talent. If you are not nominated you still have a chance of being in the book by getting in contact and letting us know your best ideas for marketing and distributing the book. It will be freely distributed but if you come up with an idea that we use then you will be included, along with your website on the very first inside page of the book in the acknowledgements section.

This started out as a small idea but it has been amazing to see how people have been excited to get involved and I know that this book is going to be a great help to all that read it and so on behalf of all the future readers I thank you all.

Cheers on this project! Should be a very interesting read. For your marketing I can really only make one suggestion. P2P.
A few music artists have released free albums via p2p and have done very well. Let me know if you need any pointers.

It’s a great way to distribute files to many people with little bandwidth use. There are sites that specialize in torrent flies and ebooks. Some private some public.
If I were wanting to get my free ebook out in the world I’d create a torrent and have direct download links to the PDF ebook in one central location. Perhaps a download page on your site. Multiple hosting sources for the PDF for ease of use and no overloading of servers is recommended.
Get those links or the link to your download page in as many newsletters as possible. Ask those bloggers to put the link in their newsletter or at least plug your download page on their site. Linkbacks are key if you want google and yahoo to pick up the new page and index it.
Other than, word of mouth and keywords are were I’d go next.

It’s great to see someone work on something so simple that will be so impactful while making it as such a collaborative piece. I would love to be a part of it in some way!
1) Success to me is fulfillment. Fulfillment not in the sense that you have reached a certain level of external success (money, love, etc.) but in the sense that you love who you are and are proud about what you contribute to the world. Therefore you will only truly know if you are fulfilled or successful when there is joy in everything you do and you are living life for NOW not later.
2)I achieve success by doing what I love, surrounding my self with people I love and not settling for ordinary. Everyday I make sure that I am fully grateful for the opportunity I have and do my best to make a contribution to the world.
