Hi Tony, Sounds like a great idea and I will definitely so that sometime in the future – Making money off selling patents takes time but the rewards can be huge so always worth a shot for anyone. Designing is just about finding a problem and solving it.

Hi Tony, thanks for visiting the site.

There are a whole host of passive income avenues you can pursuit and I am definitely not talented or experienced enough to pursuit most of them.

For myself, I stick to what I am good at. My passions lie in Entrepreneurship, Photography, Writing, Design and Sports. I am not going to make money in sport and unlikely in photography without some serious leg work and so I focus on the other three. Building businesses by finding a need and supply a solution, If it’s a product idea I do not have the capital or the inclination to spend years in development so I sell the patent to companies on a royalty basis – if they develop it and it sells then I make more passive income, if not the I have not wasted much time.

A big passion I am developing is my writing and I have two fiction books in the pipeline which will be in first draft by Christmas as well as another book concept exploring how I am living currently. I also have a book concept called Pictomins – Pictorial Wisdom for a Visual World which I am also looking to have drafted by Christmas. If people enjoy these then possibly I will be fortunate enough to find a publisher and create another passive income stream.

I don’t make money through website affiliation schemes and the like because I don not really understand it well enough and frankly it does not infuse me at all. I would say whatever income streams you set up, make sure it is something you are passionate about and would happily talk to others about. That is a good benchmark.
