This time I was in India and for those of you who  read about my Thailand adventures then then this one is definitely different but in no way lacking.
.
More than any other post I write, if this inspires you and you think It can help others then please spread it around. I would love to hear people have finally gone an done it and lived their dreams and if this post helps then I am happy. I cannot recommend this lifestyle enough.

I Did Some Incredible Things

.

Dived in the warm waters of Goa

Explored Goa on a Royal Enfield Bullet

And abused lax health and safety laws

Was unofficially married to her for three weeks

But still managed to get some decent rock time in

As well as have some very strange implements used on me

Went drinking in style

Walked for two hours barefoot over lava flow

Got lost in the wild

.

I Saw Some Incredible Things

.

Cows on streets, in homes, restaurants and even the beach

Some questionable facial hair

Lifestyles that opened my eyes

Stunning Beaches

...and landscapes

...and creatures

This guy

...these guys

...and a camel

As well as views like this...

...and this

.

I Ate Some Incredible Things

.

Healthy from time to time

Odd some of the time

Truly odd

Fresh most of the time

Sensational some of the time

And also a lot of sugar

Drinks were pretty good too

.

I met some incredible people

.

Like this lot

And this lot

And these three

These two

Them

And this lot

And him

And him

These two

Those two

Him

Them

and these guys

And a few others as well

.

It has been an incredible 9 months so far for me personally and so I want to give back to people in return for the good things that have come my way in life. This blog is my way of giving back and on it I discuss how you too can go about creating your idea lifestyle. I hope you continue to follow it and continue to derive real value from this blog for as along as I can keep my caffine fueled fingers moving.

.

Thanks to all my readers for being awesome.

Incredibly inspirational! What type of camera do you use? And where too next? Stay safe and happy travels!

    • Jonny says:

      Hi Amber,

Thanks for the comment and great to hear you are inspired. I was travelling with a Cannon 1000D with a 18-55 lens. Its a great entrey level SLR and can standup to some rough housing and the dust of India so highly recommend it. Next plans are towards Argentina or the Philippines.

  3. NP says:

Great photos! Makes me want to go there.

    • Jonny says:

      Hi NP,

Glad it inspired, I hope you get the opportunity to experience India someday, it is well worth the trip.

  4. Awesome stuff Jon! Your photo posts are always exceptional.

Curious, do you ever plan on talking about your business on the blog or keeping it mostly lifestyle related? Would be curious to hear about the former as well.

    Thanks,
    Brian

    • Jonny says:

      Hi Brian,

Thanks for the compliments as photography is a big hobby of mine and so it is always nice to get feedback.

Regarding the blogs topics it has been something I have been thinking about for a while now. I am putting together a survey for the blogs readers to see what they want more of. At the moment, as you rightly observe, it is more about lifestyle but the two other topics I am passionate about, business and wealth generation are areas I am looking to explore and open up to here at thelifething.com.

Thanks for the comment perhaps business topics will follow shortly.

      • Hi Jonny, I’m with Brian – would love to read about your business venture/s as well as lifestyle topics.

        • Jonny says:

          Hi Lauren,

Thanks for the comment, it seems that people want more on business and we have to give the people what they want so more business I think it will be. Also, love your globe trooper site, any time you would like to guest post on this site you are more than welcome. I am sure that many of my readers would love what you do and it might help them take that final step and taking the leap. Let me know.

  5. Great photos. The pictures really do say it all. If these don’t inspire people I don’t know what will. Keep it up man.

      Hi Earl,

    The word to use!

I want to be like you when I grow up :P

I really admire the way you just travel and experience the world :)

Hope I can, one day, do the same :)

First Europe then… the world! (But first home :) )

    Thank you for the inspiration!

Hey Jonny, Have become quite an avid reader of your blog since discovering you about a month ago. Keep up the good work.

I’m off travelling south east asia at the end of june for 10 weeks and can’t wait. I love your travel photo’s and noticed in your original “3 months of a travelling entrepeneur” post you’re holding a cannon dslr.

I’m looking at the 450d myself, any advice or recommendations on camera’s or lenses or travel photography in general?

    Much appreciated.

    Jay

    • Jonny says:

      Hi Jay,

Thanks for the comments and thanks for visiting the site. I’m jealous, you are going to have a great time travelling, make sure you hit Thailand, Lao and Cambodia. I did indeed go travelling with a DSLR, mine was the entry level 1000D with a 18-55mm lens. I love the 1000D because it is light and robust but if you can finance a 450 I would go for that and get better picture clarity. In terms of lenses when travelling it depends on how avid a photographer you are. I travel light so can’t carry multiple lenses though I found having a standard 18-55 was awesome because it meant you had to get up close and personal with your subject (perfect if photographing good looking Swedish girls).

Best tip I can give with the Cannon is to shoot in sports mode when you don’t have time to adjust the setting properly. This will get most of the setting “about right” and you can tweak it all back on the computer.

Hope this helps mate and enjoy your trip.
